Atharv Takshali is a high school student studying at Sancta Maria, Hyderabad, with a deep interest in the field of Mathematics and Computer Engineering, and how different fields of science come to inform each other for a holistic knowledge about the real world. He is also curious about the transformation that the world is experiencing with the ever-increasing changes in the field of Information and Technology, especially how it interacts with and affects our climate & environment, with his latest interest being the impact of Artificial Intelligence. Being an enthusiast of computer science and STEM, Atharv has been perceptive of the change that education can bring about amongst the underserved communities if the younger generation is given the right education in STEM. For the same reason, he founded the project “CloudLab” for young socioeconomically challenged students to gain a concrete understanding of how science can be noticed in the real world through meteorological phenomena. Such an initiative stems from his existing engagements in volunteering services, wherein he provides lecture sessions and learning resources to students for topics under mathematics and chemistry.
